Heat Stroke: Look For These Signs

Heat Stroke: Look For These Signs

The warmer weather invites us to spend some quality time outside with our pets. Pets can quickly overheat in an automobile, or running on hot pavement, etc... If you observe any of these behaviors in your pet you should call the clinic immediately:

  1. Panting

  2. Salivating

  3. Lethargic behavior

  4. Vomiting or diarrhea

  5. Seizures

The objective is to lower the pets core body temperature safely and quickly.
